[MPlayer-users] bad audio playback rate in AVIs with 2 mp3 tracks with different sample rate

I have avi file with 2 audio tracks. 1st is 44100Hz, 2nd is 48000Hz.
When I switch to another track with '#', the tone and playback speed
are lower.

"-ac ffmp3" helps; by default its mp3 of mp3lib.

How to set ffmp3 to be default? Edit /etc/mplayer/codecs.conf ?
