[MPlayer-users] [bug] Vobsub bordercase corruption

Hi all,


In certain bordercases, vobsub subtitles are incorrectly displayed
(mplayer) and hence incorrectly muxed/burned (mencoder) ; the corruption
seems to be limited to double-line subtitles.

This issue is present in all mplayer versions up to today ; tested with
SVN-r29324-snapshot-4.3.2.



The Avidemux2 project, whose vobsub RLE code seems to be based on
mplayer, exhibits the same problem, be it in a different way (interlaced
double-line subtitles).

To the contrary, both VLC and HandBrake handle these vobsub's without error.
