[MPlayer-users] X geometry options

The man page says that the -geometry option is supported for the x11 video driver.  

              NOTE:  This option is only supported by the x11, xmga, xv, xvmc,
              xvidix, gl, gl2, directx, fbdev and tdfxfb video output drivers.

My PC has a single video card with a single VGA output, and I'm running X.  So, I assume I'm using the x11 video driver.  Is that right?  Will I be able to start mplayer and have it place the video window on the screen without requiring any mouseclicks?

devices. If you look at the man page and read the description
of the geometry option you will see this. I am using the
special nvidea vdpau output device and using the geometry
option with that works just fine.
