[MPlayer-users] BUP, IFO, VOB -> mpeg-2 with the right audio track

Playing the result.avi file gives just the audio, in french, no video....
This is what I performed:
mencoder dvd:// -alang fr -dvd-device "/home/mihamina/Videos/n1/NCIS.Season.1.Multisubs.Audio.ENG.GER.ITA.FRE/DISC 1" -ovc copy -oac copy -o result.avi

But using lavc gave me all I need:
mencoder dvd:// -alang fr -dvd-device "/home/mihamina/Videos/n1/NCIS.Season.1.Multisubs.Audio.ENG.GER.ITA.FRE/DISC 1" -ovc lavc -lavcopts aspect=16/9 -oac lavc -o result.avi
