[MPlayer-users] File format misdetected

Hi!

I grabbed a number of files from a digital camera using `dvgrab'.
`file' identifies all of them as "DIF (DV) movie file (PAL)":

...but mplayer refuses to play dvgrab-005.dv:

Finally, my question is: How can I fix mplayer to properly recognize
that file. (For now, it would be nice to have some kind of "force"
option to allot mencoding that file to produce a Video-DVD from it...
I already tried to play with the "-vc" option, supplying diverse
codecs, but mplayer always recognized it as MPEG-PES.)
