[MPlayer-users] Mplayer fails to play a certain video stream via asx and bin files

Kubuntu 8.10, KDE 4.2, MPlayer SVN-r28403-4.3.2

Hi,

MPlayer fails to play the following video stream of Lithuanian State
Television:

<http://www.lrt.lt/standalone.php?channel=234940&quality=high>

The stream URL is contained in an ASX file

If I enter the URL <http://86.38.0.225:81> in Seamonkey or Firefox, I am
offered to save a file that turns out to be a *.bin file of about 600
byte. I suspect that it is some other kind of playlist, but I cannot
handle bin files.

Any hints on how to play this stream with MPlayer?
