[MPlayer-users] ASX files with UTF-8 BOM file markers

Just a note that mplayers ASX parser will croak on ASX files that have
UTf-8 BOM file markers as the first 2-3 characters.
UTF8-file header (%EF%BB%BF)

mplayer -playlist "7.3 - Eyewitness News Now.asx"

Gives errors like this, with the attached file...

MPlayer SVN-r29343-4.4.0 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team

Playing <asx version="3.0">.
File not found: '<asx version="3.0">'
Failed to open <asx version="3.0">.

Resaving the file in another character set, like ISO-8859-15 makes the
file work. But the file should work without having to do this.
