provide the "main" repository though - if sourceforge is any indication
that would mean risking that your project is gone as soon as some clown
meets a lawyer (does repo.or.cz have a history in that regard?).
And despite its many advantages there are drawbacks to git in general
that might make it a bad choice, to my knowledge its GUI tools are still
quite behind and editing commit log messages is quite a pain.
