[MPlayer-users] lavf + rv3040 -> segfault

Hi.

The lavf demuxer seems to be incompatible with real video codecs, on pain of
segfault. For example:

mplayer teaserde.rm

works, but

mplayer -demuxer lavf teaserde.rm

segfaults (complete mplayer output at the end of this mail). teaserde.rm is
<URL: http://samples.mplayerhq.hu/real/VC-RV30/teaserde.rm >, I have the
same problem with other files in Matroska format, which was bad since the
lavf demuxer was the default for some time.

If someone wants to look into it, I can provide more information if needed.
I do not have time to look into it myself, especially since I have very few
real video files.

Regards,
