Actaully the grey background is the sort of created by firefox. What
happens is that firefox create a surface for mozplugger to draw into
using the default window color of the GTK theme. Then the window is
passed to mozplugger. So if mozplugger does not draw a background color
then it will remain the default color. So you can blame it on the theme
or firefox. I've run into this same issue in mplayerplug-in and
gecko-mediaplayer.
