[MPlayer-users] Running multiple instance of mplayer

/dev/dsp is direct out to the hardware itself, monopolizing the soundcard 
(at least if free)
On most distributions there a software soundmixer which makes it possible to 
play multiple sound simultaneously (for instance ESD)
Configure this device as mplayer output:   -ao esd
