what are the lengths reported if you run
$ mplayer -novideo -ao pcm:file=test.wav dvd://1 -aid 128 dvd://1
$ mplayer -identify test.wav
$ mplayer -novideo -ao pcm:file=test.wav dvd://1 -aid 137 dvd://1
$ mplayer -identify test2.wav
