[MPlayer-users] Disable messages to the console

I have a slow machine and I'm trying to watch same h264 movies with framedrop on.

The problem is that every time there's a droppped frame, there's a correspondent
message displayed in the console, thus making my video lag even more.

How can I disable the following output:

"pts value <= previous:  0.361 ct: -0.173   0/  0 79% 29%  4.6% 17 0"

Using MPlayer dev-SVN-r26624-4.0.1, on a 1,25GHz eMac with 768MB of RAM and Mac
OS X 10.4.11.
