[MPlayer-users] New requirement for gmplayer or a bug?

Hi,

To create the gui gmplayer previously with the svn mplayer simply
required a skin and:

$ ./configure --enable-gui

However this does not now enable the gui or create the required
symlink but the following does:

$ ./configure --enable-gui
$ make 
# make install
# make install-gui

Is this done deliberately or is there a problem with the current svn?
