Rodolfo,

If you are into GUIs you might try gnome-mplayer (GTK) or smplayer (QT).
Either one has track and playlist management.

I know gnome-mplayer will get title and artist info from cddb:// if the
information is available.

I'm bias'd to gnome-mplayer since I'm the author of it, but I hear good
things about smplayer as well.
