indeed. The needed STREAM_CTRL to add (from scratch) is 
STREAM_CTRL_SET_TITLE alongside the corresponding
DEMUXER_CTRL_SET_TITLE and some input property to bind
a key press with a slave mode action. It's not hard to do, but
at the moment I don't have a split second of time to do it myself
