[MPlayer-users] help! mplayer crashes linux

Hi,


for me, the movie itself plays fine with the latest MPlayer SVN.

The download link for the real movie file is:
http://movies.apple.com/movies/paramount/iron_man/iron_man-tlr2_h720p.mov

When I try playing the movie via "mplayer
http://movies.apple.com/movies/paramount/iron_man/iron_man-tlr2_h720p.mov",
mplayer seems to crash indeed.

adding -cache 5000 to the command line helps, but trying to seek forward
also leads to a crash.

I'd consider this a bug, too.

Although, I haven't checked if this behaviour has been reported already.


For me, it seems as if there is a check missing in the code that delays
playback if the codec runs out of data.
