yes, I do.. but now, on looking better for the configure output
(slapping myself for this) I read

"No suitable assembler found.  x264 will be several times slower.
Please install 'yasm' to get MMX/SSE optimized code."


but entering yasm --version
I get
yasm 0.5.0.1591
Compiled on Jul 23 2006.
Copyright (c) 2001-2006 Peter Johnson and other Yasm developers.
Run yasm --license for licensing overview and summary.

Either to old or something else is wrong.. I will delve into this, sorry
for bothering.
