[MPlayer-users] Problem decoding H.264 DVB-T stream

User wpk (wpk at culm dot net, not subscribed to the list) on IRC reported
this.

On his country, the DVB-T streams use H.264. However, mplayer is detecting the
stream as mpeg2. The stream itself identifies the video stream as mpeg2, but
mplayer doesn't accept "-vc ffh264" as an override.

After changing demux_ts.c to read MPEG2 as H.264, we get an interlaced video
that is VERY sluggish. The user posted a sample here:

http://ep09.pld-linux.org/~adasi/dvbt.dump

Said user also claims that ProgDVB plays the file correctly.

The file was captured using:

mplayer dvb://TVN(TVN_AVC) -dumpstream

Contents of ~/.mplayer/channels.conf

TVN(TVN_AVC):746000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_AUTO:FEC_AUTO:QAM_AUTO:TRANSMISSION_MODE_AUTO:GUARD_INTERVAL_AUTO:HIERARCHY_AUTO:1512:1612:1101
