[MPlayer-users] Error SVN build with dvdnav & dvdread

I am attempting to build mplayer from SVN as suggested in
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/tech/dvdnav-howto.txt 

I removed dvdnav and dvdread as suggested. 
Followed the instruction. 
All elements appeared to build ok. 

I get the following error:  

mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libdvdread.so.4: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

Which list to contact about dvdnav?
