Just compiled an svn-current build of mplayer/mencoder. No such luck 
here, it still doesn't work. The DVD plays fine, and I can rip it fine 
in its entirety, I just can't rip or play individual chapters. For those 
interested, it is Disc 1 of Invader Zim, an old Anime Works release.

Is there any blindingly obvious thing I may have overlooked?
