[MPlayer-users] Help w/ compiling source

OK, the video part works fine, and even though I did have the dvdnav-dev
packages installed, configure did not include it. I later found some
info in the DOCS section about how to 'properly' compile in support for
dvdnav...
My question this time is about OSD... I installed the libxosd-dev
package, but ./configure doesn't detect it and I didn't find any DOCS
like that for dvdnav for alternate osd-dev headers.
What is the requirement to configure OSD into mplayer?
Thanks
