[MPlayer-users] install question fc8 yum

I installed fc8, and used the yum install mplayer command.  I then 
downloaded codecs and moved the files to /usr/local/lib/codecs/ 
directory.  I then downloaded Corelian skin and moved files to 
~/.mplayer/skins/default directory.  So, now what do I need to do to 
activate the skin?  How would I remove mplayer and replace with the svn 
option?  Any help appreciated.
