[MPlayer-users] Error to DVD-R, play it from hard drive

Hi,

I have a DVD+R device, it can read DVD-R disk, but could not play
mplayer on it:

Playing dvd://1.
libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256
libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256
libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.IFO.
Can't open VMG info!
File not found: '1'
Failed to open dvd://1.

1. Is there any solution for that?

2. The alternative is to copy VOB files to hard driver, that works
fine. How can play the VOB files from hard driver, could you please give an
example of the command?
