                               ^^^^^ it's a non-plain version.
svn update, recompile and retry.

if sound still fails to be detected try to 
- add a larger -tsprobe (such as -tsprobe 5000000)
- upload sample to ftp://upload.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming and 
post the filename
