Yeah, exactly. 100 hours would be something like 750 euro / 1100 USD over
here at minimum wage (before taxes that is).

MPlayer has over 800,000 lines of code. Nobody understands all the code
completely and people that come close will probably not want to work for
minimum wage.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too. The secrecy and interest in OSD related
code seems to point in the direction of an STB/STU.
