[MPlayer-users] Does Mplayer do analog or only digital channels?

I have been using Mplayer through the command line. I have a command to 
scan for digital channels...

scan -U 
/usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/atsc/us-ATSC-center-frequencies-8VSB 
 > ~/.mplayer/channels.conf.atsc". Now I notice that when I go to 
file>TV there is an option to view analog or digital.

My question is... How do I scan for analog channels
