[MPlayer-users] Quicktime playback on MPlayer/Linux -- Some videos play in ultra-slow-motion?

Hi,

I just discovered & installed MPlayer app & plugin on OpenSuse 11. My
browser is Firefox.

After having fought with 'other options', with MPlayer, just about all
of my problems with viewing vids have been resolved! :-)

One strange issue with Quicktime.

I've set up to view QT with MPlayer embedded. And for most QT vids,
it seems to work as expected.

But on some, I see vid in slow-motion.

For example, @ the Apple trailer site, viewing non-HD trailers for,

  (1) http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/terminatorsalvation/
  (2) http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/humboldtcounty/

On OSX, with Safari, both trailers play correctly -- both audio & video.

On MPlayer/Linux, the TerminatorSalvation/(1) trailer plays OK.

But the HumboldtCounty/(2) plays audio fine, but video plays as if its
in ultra slow motion, and completely out-of-sync with audio. Its also
really difficult to interrupt the playback ... I have to click on
'stop' a bunch of times to cancel.

Is this problem because of MPlayer settings? I'm a little confused,
because it works on one, but not the other.

Thanks for any help.

Terry
