Hello:
I'm new at using mencoder so I wanted to know what I'm doing wrong:
Here is the command I use:
mencoder.exe - "c:\Temp\g2.mp4" -o "c:\Temp\g3.avi" -ovc xvid -oac mp3lame
-xvidencopts fixed_quant=4 -lameopts cbr:br=128
Unless I understand something incorrectly this should transform my g2.mp4 to
a g3.avi with xvid in 4 quality and mp3 audio at 128 Kbits. However when I
execute it I get this in my windows command line promt (prueba.bat is where
the line above is written):
c:\Archivos de programa\MediaCoder\codecs>prueba.bat
c:\Archivos de programa\MediaCoder\codecs>mencoder.exe - "c:\Temp\g2.mp4" -o
"c:
\Temp\g3.avi" -ovc xvid -oac mp3lame -xvidencopts fixed_quant=4 -lameopts
cbr:br
=128

And it just stays there without doing anything. It doesn't block. But it
doesn't do anything else either.
What can the problem be?
Thank you for your help.
