[MPlayer-users] Problems with subtitle fonts in the SVN code

Dear all,

I have been experiencing problems on my Debian testing with the latest SVN code.

My .mplayer/config is as simple as

double=yes
ao=oss
fs=no
vf=lavcdeint,scale
stop-xscreensaver=yes

Now, when I start MPlayer I see

In Ubuntu 7.04, things are even worse. MPlayer SVN hangs when using any -vo except x11
