[MPlayer-users] stopping mplayer on media error

hi all,

i've developed a simple shell script to rip a dvd when the dvd tray
closes. i use the following command for ripping:

mplayer dvd://1 -alang en -slang en -dvd-device /dev/hda -dumpstream \
                -dumpfile /opt/samba/media/dvd/giant$N.vob

is possible to tell mplayer to stop/quit ripping if it encounters errors
on the media (I/O error on device hda) ...
