[MPlayer-users] Creating animated gif thumbnails of movies

Hi,

I need to create a gif animated thumbnail of movies
containing five frames spread at equal distance of
eachother convering all the video from beginning to
end

I tried to use mplayer -vo gif89a:2.0:test.gif but it
only seems to work to make an animated gif for the
first few frames.

I would greatly apreciate any help.
