I haven't got time to participate on -dev-eng these days.  I've barely
got time to skim the threads of this list (mostly they get deleted).
So I could submit a one-line patch and then spend a week arguing over
what the best output string should be... but it's a one-liner and I
don't need the credit.  If someone else wants to spend the time on
-dev-eng championing the patch and finding a consensus about the right
output string, then that would be great.  If not, I'll just keep
patching my local copy for my private project.  *shrug*
