[MPlayer-users] How far does mplayer support HDTV media?

When I try to play a .ts file, it goes smooth for some seconds at first,
then it starts to print lots of complaints:

| Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
| For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.

Then it becomes simply unbearable.
