That's a nonsense command-line.  Why do you have "-of mpeg" in there?

FLV doesn't appear to support a sampling rate of 8kHz, so you need
-srate in there to change it.

Also, there's no reason for you to quote the message from Giacomo,
this is a seperate subject, and a seperate thread.  And in any case,
top-posting is not acceptable on these (and most other) lists.
