[MPlayer-users] hwac3 vs liba52, hwdts vs libdts

Hi,

I'm trying to completely disable MPlayer's decoding of AC3/DTS codecs,
because they are patented where I live. So I told the configure script
to not include liba52 and libdts. But now passthrough doesn't seem to
work. Is there a way to guarantee decoding won't happen, but allow
passthrough?

(I'm working on a front-end, so I can't make any assumptions about the
media file being played.)
