[MPlayer-users] How to delay audio with mencoder?

Hello,

I have a movie file (AVI, XviD + MP3) and its audio is a little bit 
ahead of the video.

When playing it with mplayer I pressed the "-" button to get a -320ms 
delay and this was a great enhancement.

So I thought I just do a

mencoder foo.avi -oac copy -ovc copy -audio-delay -0.320 -o new.avi

to insert this delay into the file. But I think it did not work, when 
playing new.avi with MPlayer the audio still was a bit ahead...
