Your system probably is too slow to play it.  On2's codecs are
ridiculously CPU-intensive at resolutions above 320x240 or so (whatever
resolution can fit in your CPU cache, I believe).

Try adding -framedrop, or you can encode to another format that your
system can play in realtime.
