Thanks for feedback.

Movie starts but states my system is too slow and gives usual recommendations.

My CPU useage goes from 7% to 100% - just like playing without -vf
scale=640:-2 arguments BUT the film actually does play better, but not
for long.

After 30 seconds I start getting the same error messages as above and
I lose sync and image slows down.

By now it is unwatchable.
