I tried your suggestion, but there are still problems:

Why is the latest official/public MPlayer Win32 release
(http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/MPlayer-mingw32-1.0rc1.zip) not able to choose/select the interplay dpcm codec?
The Mplayer.exe conatians many "interplay" / "interplay dpcm" related strings, but the MPlayer.exe is not able to play dpcm stuff?

1.) What is wrong?

2.) Because FFPLAY/FFMPEG currently have much more better capabilities in playing .mve videos with dpcm audios streams, how to force FFPLAY / FFMPEG to play RAW .scp interplay dpcm audio streams?

In other words:
How can this realized:
"mplayer -demuxer rawaudio -ac +ffinterplaydpcm *.scp"
...with ffplay/ffmpeg?

"-demuxer" and "rawaudio" is not supported / provided by FFMPEG / FFPLAY.

It seems to be that FFMPEG expect a header / a format everytime you open a media file while forcing a certain codec.

Is FFMPEG able to open any header-less media files / raw files at all?


3.) A not so important question, but an interesting one:
There are two main kinds of .mve file tpyes:
+ .mve videos with a pcm audio stream
+ .mve videos with a dpcm audio stream

How to extract a dpcm audio stream from a .mve video?
Are the command line capabilities of MPLayer or FFMPEG currently good enough to realize "3.)"?
