[MPlayer-users] Unable to play mp4(quicktime) files when using fifo

Hi,

	Has anyone tired playing back mp4(quicktime video only) files using a fifo?  
Tries to play but gets bad header error and quits.  Works fine without using 
the fifos.  Can play mp2 files just find using the fifos.  I think the 
decoder is trying to look ahead in the file and can't because of the fifo 
nature.  Would a very large cache help(any guesses of what the magic size may 
be?)? Thanks.
