[MPlayer-users] CBC & .asx streams

Are you just wanting to listen to these streams or are you wanting to
record them? If you want to listen to them via a web plugin you might try

gecko-mediaplayer + GNOME MPlayer

I was able to listen to the streams using them with no problem. These
are separate components and projects from mplayer the use mplayer to
playback media on the web.

gecko-mediaplayer is a firefox plugin that uses DBUS to control GNOME
MPlayer which is a GTK/GNOME wrapper for mplayer to actually play the media.
