[MPlayer-users] how to make mplayer to exit automatically when receiving streaming video

When I use mplayer or mencoder to receive streaming videos, they cann't exit automatically after the streaming is over. I have to use Ctrl-C or other ways to kill them. Is there any decent way to force them exit after the stream session is completed?
