Slightly OT:

I've just tried serenity_1080p.mov from Apple's HD demos, on Athlon 64
X2 4200+ in 64bit Debian (Sid) I got around 50-60 % CPU load in high
motion scenes, in "credits" scenes which are black and show only some
static letters the CPU load was 20-30 %. CPU runs @ 2.2 GHz.
