[MPlayer-users] Using mencoder to scale a video file

Thanks. The closest example I can find is streaming from a pipe, not a
streaming site.

Encode from a pipe:
  rar p test-SVCD.rar | mencoder -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=800 -ofps 24

Is there any other example.
Thanks for any pointers.
