Because mov != wmv. Anyway mov doesn't specity contained AV format!! it's only 
a container.
You can't see that directory?? Use something like that:
cd /usr/lib
mkdir codecs
copy dl'ded codecs (from site) to that directory and enyoy watching videos ;)
