[MPlayer-users] Audio Static

Hi,

I hope someone can help me out.

I rebuilt my dedicated Freevo recording server this weekend. The major
change was going from Fedora Core 2, to Ubuntu 6.10. Now whenever I record,
the video is fine but the audio is all static. I have a Pinnacle tuner card
with the jumper cable from the tuner to my audio in on my sound card. I
plugged some speakers into the audio out on the tuner card and hear the
static there as well so I don't think it is my sound card setup.

Here is the tuner card portion of the dmesg output:

Those last few lines worry me. I had this card working fine before I went
to Ubuntu 6.10.

Here is the mencoder record command if it helps: /usr/local/bin/mencoder
tv:// -tv
driver=v4l2:input=0:norm=ntsc:channel=2:chanlist=us-cable:width=768:height=4

br=128:cbr:mode=3 -ffourcc divx -endpos 2299 -o /files/tv/Today/filename.avi

Thanks!

Jon
