Assuming the above is not a typo, the comma causes "device=ladspa" part to
be treated as an alternative value for -ao for mplayer to use in case
opening -ao alsa fails. You probably want -ao alsa:device=ladspa instead.
I suggest `man mplayer' next time. ;)
