OK, I'll add it there. Even though I'm a bit used to using "./" now,
it's always is a bit bewildering to see commands without it in manuals,
especially as I've seen very few -actually I can't remember one-
comments that OS X and Darwin unlike many other Unix flavors don't have
it in the path from default.

Yes, this was the correct direction for a solution. I simply looked in
the wrong "MacOS" folder. Thanks! A test the stream is downloading fine
now, if a little crude compared to the live viewing, but then again
without the preload waiting that afflicted it before. Hopefully I can
get better quality if I let Mplayer work alone on the machine, an old
400Mhz G4.

Any other ideas to improve quality for dumped stream?
Is it possible to make the server to actually send out the material
slower than realtime? Provided the server software supports this of
course. Or is it possible to ask for a lesser bit-rate in the dumpstream
command? I got 600kbps now and that's probably what my machine can keep
up with. I don't seem to have man page included with this release, so
I'll go online and see if I can find anything like this.....
