[MPlayer-users] RVA tags in mp3 files

Hello,

Just wondering if there is any way to adjust the volume of
an mp3 file using the RVA2 id3 tag under mplayer.  The
other players I use (mpg123 and mpd) both support RVA so
mp3s play at the same volume but when I play a file with
mplayer, it comes over quite loud.  If mplayer doesn't
directly support RVA, can a DB gain be supplied on the
commandline?  I could then write a script to extract the
RVA and feed it to mplayer.
